A musical luminary, Tarrus Riley, virtually born into the rhythms, is set to grace Newport, South Wales, headlining the Reggae & Riddim Festival 2024! Voicing his first song at a remarkable age of 13, Tarrus has become a prominent figure in the music industry.

With hit singles like “Stay With You,” “Beware,” and the iconic “She’s Royal,” Tarrus crafts thought-provoking music rooted in Black consciousness and experiences. His passion extends to uplifting women and children, using his music to empower and inspire. Tarrus is more than an artist; he’s a visionary, working with friends under the movement BLAKSOIL – Bredren Living According King Selassie-I Overstanding & Iritical Livity. Get ready for an unforgettable night of soul-stirring music and powerful messages at the Reggae & Riddim Festival!

Johnny Osbourne

In a career spanning over half a century, Johnny Osbourne has been a privileged witness to the evolution of Jamaican music. Debuting in 1967 with The Wildcats, he later recorded with Coxsonne Dodd and made a spectacular return to Jamaica in the 80s. Working with Studio One and King Jammy, he created legendary albums like “Truth and Rights” and “Folly Ranking”. His 2012 festival tour showcased his legendary stage presence. Collaborations with Chinese Man and Major Lazer followed, leading to his 2023 comeback album produced by Baco Records with musician Stepper.

Aleighcia Scott

Raised in Cardiff, Aleighcia grew up with reggae, soul and blues playing in her family home to building her career online and a live residency at her local reggae venue, the Irie Shack. Growing to become an opening act for visiting artists including Tarrus Riley, Julian Marley, Agent Sasco and Soul II Soul.

In 2023, Aleighcia released her debut album, Windrush Baby, a collaboration with renowned sound system selector and producer Rory Stonelove with feature from Dean Fraser, Kirk “Kirkledove” Bennett, Franklin “Bubbler” Waul and Donald “Danny Bassie” Dennis. Rory’s previous productions include debut albums that launched Jamaican superstars Jah9 and Samory I! We’re thrilled to welcome Aleighcia to the Reggae & Riddim Festival again, this time where she’ll bring the vibrations from “Windrush Baby” live on stage. Get ready to groove to the soulful sounds that define Aleighcia’s unmistakable style!
