Our heap of frequently asked questions for the festival!

WHAT CAN’T WE BRING!

There will be increased random searches this year, which take place upon entry to Reggae and Riddim Festival and if you are in possession of any illegal substance you will be refused entry and may be arrested. Drugs, fireworks or other explosives, generators, tin foil barbecues, weapons are not permitted.

CAN WE BRING ANIMALS?

Unfortunately not, the only animals allowed on site are accessibility assistance dogs.

ARE THERE ANY CAMPING SITES?

No – unfortunately we do not have a designated camping site for our attendees at this year’s festival. Though next to our site is National Trust’s Caravan park! https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-sites/wales/newport/tredegar-house-country-park-club-campsite/

WHEN DOES THE FESTIVAL OPEN

Gates open for 12pm on both days, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st July. Please do not arrive before these times. We will also have opening ceremonies on each day so be sure to arrive in good time!

HOW DO I GET TO REGGAE & RIDDIM FESTIVAL?

You can get to our festival by our festy bus, bicycle or connection coach and train to Newport City Centre – click here for more details. If you’re driving please follow the directions on car parking passes and follow road diversions rather than sat-nav directions.
